Notes from the Winemakers
Equally gratifying in taste and hue, Bel Lago’s 2019 brut sparkling Rose charms the casual wine drinker as well as the connoisseur. Bubbles burst off the glass and release an aroma of strawberries and cream. Sipping through the effervescence, a palate of blueberries, tart cherries, raspberries and lemon‐lime soda emerges. With a beautiful ruby red color, this sparkling Pinot Noir is perfect on its own or as the base for any mimosa.
Production Notes
Cold soaked on the skins for 24 hours, this Pinot Noir sparkling Rose wasfermented in a stainless‐steel tank at a low temperature to increase aromatics using the yeast Vin 13. The wine was then lees‐aged for several months to enhance the flavors and mouthfeel before its secondary fermentation. In the traditional method.
